What is Paintball?

Scenario Paintball

Scenario paintball games are large, sometimes weekend-long events where huge teams (100 to 2000 players) compete to complete various objectives, like capturing areas or finding hidden items. These annual events often feature team leaders and special roles, with points awarded for completed tasks, and the team with the most points wins.

Low Impact Paintball

Low Impact Paintball is designed for beginners, especially young players aged 10-15, using markers that shoot at a lower speed (200-250 fps) and smaller paintballs (.50 caliber) for a gentler experience. Often called 50Cal, these games are ideal for first-timers; check with your local paintball field to see if they offer this beginner-friendly option.

Classic Woodsball

Woodsball is a popular paintball game played outdoors, usually in wooded areas, where players of all levels can enjoy various modes like capture the flag, elimination, and zombie hunts. Teams range from small to large, and anyone interested can join by contacting their local paintball field.

Speedball

Speedball is a fast-paced, competitive style of paintball played on open fields with clear views of opponents, often used in tournaments. Players use electronic markers with set firing rates, and fields typically have inflatable bunkers or pipe tubing as obstacles.

Mechanical & MagFed Paintball

Mechanical and MagFed Paintball are specialized styles where the focus is on the type of paintball marker used rather than the gameplay itself. Mechanical markers are non-electronic, similar to early paintball guns, while MagFed markers use magazines for reloading, adding a unique, tactical element; interested players can inquire with local fields or stores about events for these styles.

What our customers are saying about us

Nourhan BeyroutiAbout Official Paintball

The facility is phenomenal, the facility team is amazing, our ref was Cayden who is remarkable! He sprained his ankle , got all swollen and kept on going the whole day through with us. A team mate lost a personal item and it was also found the next day after they searched for it. The maps are extremely fun, especially the area with the planes and helicopters. A must and go to experience in North Texas. We are definitely coming back again and again. It’s fun and most importantly it’s safe for all players. Go have fun! Don’t forget to get a fun smoke popper for that extra competition edge.

IrönsideAbout Fun On The Run Paintball Park

Been coming here since I was 13, first experience was with my church youth group. Fun on the Run keeps getting better every year, was there 2 weeks ago for a birthday party. The employees have good customer service skills, the refs are on top of their game and the courses provide an awesome experience overall. Highly recommend for family fun or friends if they're into paintball. Remember keep your goggles down and bring a towel, you'll need it.

Neal SchultzAbout Collin County Paintball

Brought 5 teens here for a birthday and it was amazing. Very reasonable prices and open play as much as you can handle. There is like 6 different fields depending on group size but if you can get a group together, the main field is HUGE. Love this place and will be coming back soon.
